strip test negative and very little blood?

we hav intercoursed (unprotected) 11 day after the first day of her last period. Her cycle is mostly 28-30. Today is 31st day and she tested in the early morning with HCG strip, got negative and she also see very little blood just like only 1 drop. She always start a period with very small blood. So, she can get pregnant or not?

An at home pregnancy test is positive it generally shows up right away like as soon as you pee on the stick.
