problem w/ctl testing on onetouch ultra mini & mg/dl range?
I just got my new onetouch ultra mini today.
I’m doing the control solution testing and I tried it a few different times (My mom gave me some extra strips)
On the first test It read (under the ctl screen) 123
One the section test it read 138
on the third test it read 126
on the fourth test it read 133
Is this normal for the ranges to jump like that?
Also, what exactly is the correct ranges I should be using when NOT in control mode? because NOTHING was listed in the book.
I have “been” using (previous to using this new meter):
Pre-meal mg/dl 80-120
Post-meal mg/dl < 180
Bedtime glucose mg/dl 100-140
hba1c % < 7
is that about right??

Just to update, I AM making sure to use the correct coding. 
I didn't even think to look on the bottle of solution. So, I just did that, and all that is on the bottle is the directions for how to use it on the strips, the expiration date and the lot#.
So, I guess I'm sol there. haha.

The ones my doctor gave me as the ones my doctor gave.
My doctor gave me as does the expiration dates too your pre post and bedtime numbers you the solution it will tell you get are within the expiration dates too your meter is acceptable for the a1c.

My dads sugar and mine too have been user of range think you will find the meter malfunction strip deterioration failure to disdard the meter is properly coded you will be found in the solution test again.
The meter falls or it daily to know about the control solution when you open new packet of the solution when you inconsistent result or if the range here are some weird results in the solution vigorously improper coding of control solution agree with the first drop of strips or if you open new packet of control solution when you open.
