I bought a glucose monitor because diabetes runs in the family and wanted to keep myself in check. I have gotten both high and low readings but not sure what it could be. I’ve gotten readings so far of 58, 69, 130, 132, 136. The high numbers were taken 2-4 hours after eating and I noticed I got shaky and dizzy and my breathing increased rapidly whenever I got them. As for the low numbers, the 58 was taken after I had eaten in the morning, and the 69 was a fasting test. What do you think this is? Should I keep monitoring myself or is just a waste of time and money since strips can be expensive?

The safe side.
If you have anything, it sounds like hypoglycemia. 58 is pretty low unless you’re on insulin. But instead of wasting money on strips, just go to the doctor. It isn’t hard to find out.
