Hamster Cage with Blood?

I took a look at my female hamster today, only to find a lot of blood all over her bedding and on her hamster wheel. I’ve checked her for any cuts, there’s none. there’s weird looking strips of stuff, about the length of the nail of ur thumb, covered with dark red blood. i was just holding one of the bedding with those stuff in front of her and she grabbed the entire thing with her paws and started eating them.

My hamster is a pudding and has been separated from the male hamster for some time (About a week). Any idea what happened to it?

    don’t know her age or if there are any scars.. but she might be menstrating is she eating and drinking the same?
