Okay… I have had my membranes stripped 3 times (I was confused until recently exactly what “stripping the membranes was… now knowing it is where your health care provider will separate your bag of water from your cervix). Well, as I was saying, I have had this done 3 times now - at 38 weeks, 39 weeks, and yesterday at 41 weeks. The first 2 times I had spotting for the rest of the day. However yesterday, even though she was quite rough, I didn’t have any spotting. Well, this morning, I had a lot of contractions (not “regular” ranging from 5-15 minutes apart for about 4 hours). I have not had a contraction in about 5 hours now, and just went to the restroom and had a bit of mucus with some blood streaks in it. Anoyone out there know if you can still lose your mucus plug if the doctor strips your membranes or do you think this (more than 24 hours later) could be result of stripped membranes…. ???????? we took my 2.5 year old to the doctor and there was blood in the urine after a strip test. He said that they will do further testing and not to be worried. she doesn’t have a uti because there are no other symptoms.

Hi everyone, I have a question about Answer Ovulation Strips… I am at day 16 of my cycle (if counting the 1st day of period), and this morning I did my routine of dipping the stick into the urine and the set the stick aside.. I forgot to look at it before I left this morning to run errands, but when I got home the test line was very much darker than the control window… I kinda guessed that I was O-ing because while I was out I noticed alot of wetness down there, however I came home and did the pee-dip again… The test window appears to be the same color as the control, but I cant 100% tell because the line is also wider!

I am using these strips b/c I’m affraid I dont O. I’ve had no luck concieving with my ex. My gyno took blood & said I had low progesterone levels and dont O, so she put me on clomid. I had my doubts b/c I get a reg. period so I had my ex got checked and his fertility was low! Has anyone had a similiar experience? Can you get a reg. period and LH surge & no O?
When I took the test again this afternoon both lines did show the same coloring…. Is it possible to have LH surge and not O?

I’ve checked her for any cuts, there’s none. there’s weird looking strips of stuff, about the length of the nail of ur thumb, covered with dark red blood. i was just holding one of the bedding with those stuff in front of her and she grabbed the entire thing with her paws and started eating them.

My hamster is a pudding and has been separated from the male hamster for some time (About a week). Any idea what happened to it?

Hi, back in June, I had a severe panic attack in which I ended up in the ER. They did every test under the sun, and concluded it was anxiety/panic.

The only thing that was of any concern was that my blood sugar level was 196 that night in ER. No mind you….I was in the middle of a “fight or flight” wild panic attack…..and before I went to ER, I had ate 2 Banana’s and 2 Chocolate Chip granola bars.

When they sent me home, they told me to make sure I check it again….and they also had me pee in a collection bucket for the next 24 hours so they could test it.

My urine came back from the lab as perfectly normal……
And 48 hours later, I did another blood sugar test…… this one came back at 106.

My doctor just wrote off the ER level as having a lot of sugar in my system, and having a panic attack.

I have none of the risk factors for high blood sugar…..
I am 6′0, 175lbs, 7% bodyfat, workout 4 days a week….. no diabetes history or either side of my family ever known.

Since I suffer from OCD, and a Anxiety disorder….I hate to go out and start getting obsessed with blood sugar levels……. if you know me, you’d know I will buy the meter, and the test strips….IN ADDITION to having the doctors office draw blood.

What do you think?? if it were you, would you follow this up, or let it go? I don’t have any of the classic high blood sugar symptoms…..like constant hunger, thirst, or urination.

Please advise!!

just to clarify the question a bit more..i had no visible blood in the urine, it came from my bladder yes..but if it were implantation bleeding how did the blood get into the bladder???also last month the strip showed moderate blood, none in the cup she said i was going to get my period. again how did the blood from shedding my uterine lining get into my bladder 1 week before my period is due?
