Bright red blood in mucus plug?

I had my membranes stripped yesterday and then 3am I lost my mucus plug which had brown spots of blood in it…This afternoon i passed another “blob” of mucus but it was full of bright red blood. Is this normal? What are some of your experiences?

    that sounds like your bloody show!! whoo hoo! lol, that usually means labor is pretty close, within a few hours or maybe a couple of days! i guess you will see!!
