A bright red blood at 37 weeks?

I am 37 weeks and this morning I had noticed a small (about the size of a marker dot) spot of bright red blood on my panties. I have been having irregular contractions for a couple of days, but none at all today. My doc also stripped my membranes 2 days ago. Should I be worried? The blood was not mixed in with anything, nothing mucousy or anything like that.

    My cervix started bleeding when my cervix started bleeding when my cervix started to dilate call your doctor.

    I am 31 weeks today and I have been having that problem since the weekend. I have also been having contractions and lost a little bit of mucus. I think it might be you dilating, but I think you should definatley call your doctor to be on the safe side. Good luck to you.
